Popular Kolkata actress Idhika Paul is going to act in a Dhakai movie again. This TV serial actress has already made a place in the hearts of the audience by acting opposite Shakib Khan in the movie ‘Priyotoma’. That movie was released in Bangladesh, India, and North America and received a great response. Now, Idhika will be seen opposite the popular actor Sariful Razz in a new movie called ‘Kobi’.
The director of this new movie is Hashibur Reza Kallol of ‘Swatta’ fame. On December 12, Idhika wrote on her Facebook page, “My next work will be with Sariful Razz.” She also said that she is thrilled to work with the new team. Idhika said, “It will be a new experience, I want to do the work with my heart.”
The story of the movie revolves around the city of Kolkata. It will have both love and action elements. As a result, the audience will get a taste of love and excitement together. Apart from Idhika and Razz, Misha Sawdagar, Kolkata’s Kharaj Mukherjee, Ananya Biswas, and many others are acting in this movie. The shooting will be done at Narayan Studio in Kolkata and various locations.
Although the movie ‘Kobi’ was originally supposed to be released in 2024, director Hasibur Hashibur Reza Kallol has confirmed that it will not be released on Eid-ul-Azha. However, it can be said that the movie will be the center of attention of the audience if it is released in theaters.
Sariful Razz has previously earned praise for acting in the movies Na Dorai, Poran, Hawa, and Damal. The latest movies, ‘Omar’ and ‘Deyaler Desh’, released on Eid-ul-Fitr, have also received a good response.
