Mithali Raj: Fighting For Women In Blue ... Taapsee In The Trailer

Is cricket just a men's game? Why shouldn't women play cricket? Why not recognize them if you play ..?

Legendary player Mithali Raj ruled women's cricket at the age of 9. She has reached many milestones in her career.

She recently said goodbye to international cricket. The legendary player, who started his international career at the age of 16, has been with Teamindia for almost two decades.

Mithali's name will be heard as long as TeamIndia women cricket.

The movie 'Shabhash Mithu' is based on the life story of Mithali Raj in the title role of Tapsee Pannu.

Movie makers have launched the trailer of the movie directed by Shrijit Mukherjee on Monday morning.

Tapsee, who had earlier announced a trailer date with the caption 'Come on .. let's see .. that Mithali Kathento' .. seems to have lived up to the role of Mithali falling short of expectations.

If you watch the trailer .. you will understand how hard Mithali worked for the recognition of women's cricket.

Mithali has shown how much she has been looking forward to becoming a cricketer since childhood.

The insults she faced are understood to have screened the way she grew up.

Mithali dreamed of a team for women called 'Women in Blue' just as men have 'Men in Blue'.

We see in the trailer how hard she struggled to make that dream come true.

The scene where Mithali hits the ball in the face and bleeds in order to face a bouncer is emotional. It seems that the trailer shows Tapsee playing the role of Mithali.

'Shabhash Mithu', produced under the banner of Viacom 18 Studios, will be released on July 15. Cricket fans and movie lovers are eagerly waiting for this movie.
