Jennifer Aniston said in the finale of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Friday that
She "leaned toward the end" when she divorced Brad Pitt in March 2005.
DeGeneres was admitted after asking the "Friends" star how he progressed when the iconic sitcom ended in May 2004.
"Okay, you know, I got a divorce and went into therapy," she joked.
"Oh, and then I did a movie called 'The Break-Up.' I leaned towards the end."
Aniston said her attitude at the time was, "let's just end everything and then start new."
Pete and Aniston met through their directors in 1994 but did not begin dating until 1998.
