Ajay Devgn is back as the popular character Income Tax Officer Amay Patnaik. The discussion started in Bollywood when the trailer of the film Raid 2 was released. The trailer was officially launched in Mumbai on Tuesday in the presence of the film’s team. The trailer is full of action and tension from the very beginning. In this story, Ajay Devgn faces Riteish Deshmukh, who is playing the role of a corrupt politician.
It is clear from the trailer that Ajay’s new mission is much riskier. But he is not alone. He has a strong team with him, who are supporting him in the fight to recover black money. Ajay says, “I have brought the whole Mahabharat,” meaning that his strategy to surround the enemy is completely multi-layered. This dialogue alone shows how much complexity and strategy will be mixed in the film.
This trailer also has a connection with the previous film, ‘Raid’. Many moments and continuity of the story of the first film are revealed here. There is excitement in every scene of Riteish Deshmukh and Ajay’s power struggle. Not only that, the presence of Sourav Shukla will also be an additional surprise for the audience.
On the other hand, Vaani Kapoor is seen in the trailer, who is playing the role of Ajay’s wife. These parts are believed to add a little emotion and a touch of love to the film.
Also, a recently leaked video shows Tamannaah Bhatia shooting a special song on the sets of the film. There is a lot of buzz in Bollywood circles that the song will create additional attraction in the film.
The film is being directed by Raj Kumar Gupta. He has previously made acclaimed films like ‘Raid, ‘ ‘Aamir, ‘ and ‘No One Killed Jessica’. Raid 2 was produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar. The film is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series and is made under the banner of Panorama Studios.
‘Raid’ was first released in 2018 and is a story of the courage and justice of an income tax officer. The film is set in 1981 Lucknow, where a historic raid is carried out on the house of a rich and influential person. The second installment of the same story is Raid 2, which is set to hit the theaters on May 1, 2025.
All in all, it can be said that the audience is waiting for a big blockbuster. This is going to be another surprise for Ajay’s fans.
