Netflix Series Forget You Not: A Father’s Emotional Story

Netflix is ​​bringing an emotional new series, ‘Forget You Not, directed by renowned actress and singer Rene Liu. The newly released teaser shows a strong and impressive cast. Starring Hsieh Ying-suan, who previously gave great performances in “Born for the Spotlight” and “Wave Makers”, she is joined by Golden Horse Award-winning actors Chin Han, Tracy Chou, Esther Liu and special guest stars Wallace Huo, Wang Po-chieh and Chen Yi-wen.

The teaser begins with the life of a modern woman named Cheng Le-le, who is in her forties and is facing various challenges in life. Her father, Cheng Kuang-chi, is a colorful man who sometimes rides a bicycle to his daughter’s wedding and sometimes jokes from his hospital bed. His childish behavior worries, fascinates, and annoys the daughter. The story is about a father-daughter relationship, where the girl says, “Even if you forget, I will remind you.”

Hsieh Ying-Xuan worked with Chin Han for the first time. She said that she was a little nervous at the beginning of the shoot, but later, she was surprised by Chin Han’s simplicity and interest in various things. Chin Han himself praised Hsieh, saying that in one scene he had to run behind a moving truck, which took 20 takes. But Hsieh never showed any fatigue.

The series is set in a busy city, where the importance of memory and family ties are highlighted. Cheng Le-le is a comedian and part-time convenience store worker. Her relationship with her husband, Chang Kai, has become complicated in the family. Le-le makes a brave decision due to her father’s illness and various life crises. On this journey, she finds love, relationships, and the meaning of life in a new way.

The series ‘Forget You Not‘ will be released on May 23 (Netflix). It is a heartwarming story that carries a deep message of family, memories, and love.
