Dear X, Hangul name 친애하는 X (Chinaehaneun X), is a Korean thriller-romance drama based on a popular webtoon. The drama will premiere on the TVING platform on November 6, 2025. It will consist of 12 episodes in total.

The series is directed by Lee Eung Bok and Park So hyun. It is based on the webtoon “Chinaehaneun X” (Ban Ji-woon).

Story And Characters

Baek A Jin, an actress who suffered domestic violence in the past, learned to read people’s hearts by hiding her emotions as she grew up.

She built her popularity by simply using the people around her. But one day her career took a turn for the worse, and the person who had been by her side her whole life would test her faith and love.

The main male character is Yun Jun Seo, who has always been by A-Jin’s side and never left her, even in difficult times.

Another character is Kim Jae O, who has had a hard time in the past and supports her like a shadow by her side.

Another character is Im Re Na, a former idol who feels affection for Jun Seo, but also has complications in her life.

Cast And Rumors

Kim You Jung has been confirmed to play the role of Baek A Jin in the drama. Kim Young Dae will play a lead role, Yun Jun Seo. Kim Do Hoon and Lee Yeol Eum are also in important roles.

The drama’s poster and trailer have already been released. The poster shows Baek A Jin staring through a crack, which gives the tone of her dual appearance and mysterious character.

It is said that director Lee Eung bok’s name is associated with many blockbuster dramas (such as Goblin, Mr. Sunshine), which has increased the interest of the audience in Dear X.
