Currently, the hope of rescuing someone alive from the ruins of Turkey-Syria is slowly diminishing. But a 2-year-old child was miraculously rescued after 68 hours in that country.
After about two days, rescue workers heard the sound of a child crying from the rubble. As a result, the rescue workers entered the place by removing the brick concrete and making a small tunnel-like path.
About 68 hours after the earthquake, 2-year-old Helen was rescued alive. Moreover, another 10-year-old child was rescued about three hours before this incident.
The 7.8-magnitude earthquake hit Turkey and bordering Syria in the early hours of Monday night. As a result of this terrible earthquake, the death toll has already exceeded 17 thousand in Turkey and Syria.
18 thousand 14 people died in Turkey and 3 thousand 162 people in Syria. As a result, the death toll in the two countries has reached 17,176.
