The application for admission to class XI for the 2025-26 academic year will start from July 30. This application process will continue online until August 11. The admission process of students will be conducted on the basis of SSC and equivalent results. This time too, no selection test will be conducted, but some institutions (such as Notre Dame College) will be able to take the admission test as per the court order.
The results of the first phase of applicants will be published on August 20. After that, there will be an opportunity to apply for the second and third phases. After the verification, the main admission process will start on September 7 and will continue till September 14. The eleventh class will start on September 15.
According to the admission policy, 93% of the seats in each institution will be open to all, which will be selected only on the basis of merit. The remaining 7% of the seats will be reserved for a special quota. Out of this, 1% will be reserved for the children of officials and employees of the Ministry of Education, and another 1% for the children of officials and employees of their subordinate departments or organizations. In addition, 5% quota will be reserved for the children of martyred and brave freedom fighters.
If suitable applicants are not found according to the quota, those seats will be filled by filling them from the merit list. Under no circumstances can seats be left vacant.
The 2025 SSC and equivalent results were published on July 10. The college admission process is starting on the basis of these results. To apply online, students will have to go to the designated website and fill in the form according to the required information and college choice.
In this process, students will be able to give their preference to multiple colleges. Later, after the results are published, they will have to participate in the admission process according to their chosen college.
